First, I got the reference. (I’d love to assume everyone else did, but we all know what happens when you assume…) Second, it truly is sad that, not only did you need to explain the reference, but it needed a video presentation for those who can’t read.

I was in high school when this came out as a new song, so I guess that makes me old too. *sigh*

I didn’t realize the song was from 1981. I remember about 5 years ago, I’ve heard it on popular radio stations all the time.
I was born the year this came out, so there was never a time for me where 867-5309 wasn’t a number you dared your friends to call.
