I’ve found myself singing along so far this week. Just about everything in the song has come true for me at least.
LOL same. We had 5 sick cashiers the other day and I literally sang over the headset, “On the 5th day of Christmas, KMart gave to me, fiiiiiive siiiick cassshiieeerssss!”
I hate those slobs who leave their unwanted drinks everywhere! We have garbage cans, folks, use them!
Sounds like about 50% of the people that shop at the closest Walmart to us.
My personal pet peeve is when people leave their *full* drinks on top of a rack, or on a shelf somewhere. How do you walk off and forget a full cup of coffee? Which of course then gets knocked off the shelf, and spills all over the floor, and people complain to us about it *sigh*
I have been absolutely guilty of leaving a drink or two behind unintentionally when I’m shopping (even back when I worked in retail!). I apologize if I annoyed anyone by doing so!
I have a love/hate relationship with my retail job. All of these things come true for me, but I don’t think I could ever quit. My manager is such a wonderful person, and I think I’d rather have a boss who cares than a decent job.
I had a boss I loved (actually I had two), but then they both were moved out to different areas of the store, and shortly thereafter we all quit within a week of each other!
And the point of that was to say that while I hated the job, god I loved working for those managers!
I’m sorry, but this question is for a different holiday, but it’s still relevant.
What makes this season different from every other season?
It sounds like a normal day.
As for full cups of coffee being left around…
One time my manager had me throw out a cup of coffee sitting in the frozen food case. 2 minutes later the customer came back to get his coffee, He had put it there because it had been too hot to drink.
It generally takes all the typical annoyances from working retail, and cranks them to 11.
in my retails store we had a snack/candy counter with freshly popped popcorn. Nothing is more annoying than a customer asking you a question with popcorn in his mouth, and spilling it on the floor as he throws more in his mouth..
On the 12th day of Christmas my retail job gave to me a 12 weeks in rehab for a nervous breakdown
