Stuart has been on a roll for awhile, Norm needs to give him his comeuppance soon. I’d love to see Stu fail as a DM and get demoted/transferred back to a GM of a less successful Grumbel’s than the one Marla is running and have the new DM love Marla.

Being as I work Retail myself for the past four years, the only sympathy I have for a manager(all mine are crazy psychopaths on power trips)is what I feel for Marla through these strips. She survived being Stuart’s lackey, doing all his work and hers for years, she survived going into labor with a kid, but can she survive as store manager with DM Stuart breathing down her neck just like as it was before in the old days?

Kind of have to agree. While I know that this comic and retail itself is made of sadism in general…that’s kinda much.

I am betting that Stuart is going to take over the current office and they are going to convert a closet into Marla’s (and Josh’s) office.
