  1. This could work out for her. All she needs to do is have a firm hand on Josh’s reins. People like him need to be told what to do. That’s why they worship the policy manual.

Marla, just tell him that you want him to do x, y, and z. Don’t ask his opinion, just be firm. He’s the kind of douchebag that can be steered in the proper direction.

  2. Will his head explode the first time he is ordered by corporate to go against their own policy? Like Marla when forced to apologise to that guy?

    • Probably not. Being the insufferable corporate stooge that he is, he’ll ultimately justify it as headquarters “knowing what’s best.”

  3. Josh wants to advance. He’ll kiss her butt and do what he’s told but he’ll have to act differently when Stuart’s around. Could make for some good sit-com when he’s with Stuart and Marla at the same time.

  4. Aw, come on, don’t we all have a mental list of how to make things run better? Marla could pick out a dozen of the realistic ones and tell him to implement them by the end of the day!

  5. Yeah at least skim through the list. Maybe some of the ideas won’t be bad ones. Humour him a little and get him on her side. He just may make a good lapdog.

  6. All she has to do is tell Josh that the way we do things now it the way corporate wants them done, so he will either go with that or he will see what a Butthead he is being for following the policy manual so strictly
